1.Overview
1.1 Main Uses
YZ series pointer type oil level meter is used for oil level display and alarm of lowest and highest limit oil level of oil-immersed transformer storage tank and on-load tap switch storage tank.It can also be used for all kinds of open or small pressure vessel liquid level display.
1.2 Conditions of Usage
Allowable operating ambient temperature: -30 ~ +40ºC.
No violent vibration and turbulence around the site.
2. The Working Principle
When the oil level of the oil storage tank of the transformer rises or falls, the floating ball of the oil level meter or the diaphragm in the oil storage tank floats up and down, so that the swing rod of the oil level meter moves, thus driving the transmission part to rotate and display the oil level.

5. Installation and Use
5.1 Installation of oil level gauge
When installing the oil level meter, it is necessary to ensure that the movable space of the swinging rod and floating ball is not disturbed by any structural parts.
5.2 Check oil level meter before installation
Before installation, check whether the oil level meter is damaged or corroded during storage and transportation, and install it after handling it well.
Before installing the oil level meter, gently move the swing rod by hand, which should be flexible in rotation, and signal should be sent reliably at the limit position.
Before installing the oil level meter, check whether the insulation performance of lead cable, outlet terminal and signal switch is good.
