Short Description:

Lead Cable Auto Bandage Machine

1 Application and composition

1.1 Application: It is suitable for the insulation wrapping of copper strand lead cable in transformer, converter transformer and reactor.

1.2 Composition: The automatic lead bandage machine is composed of main frame, linear guide rail, bandaging head,  tail seat,  power transmission device and electronic control system.

2 Performance Parameters

(1) Diameter of wrapped lead cable: 25mm²~630mm². Thickness of unilateral wrapping paper ≤20mm.

(2) Wrapping length of the lead cable ≤12 meters.

(3) The width of the creped paper is 25 and 40mm, and the diameter of the inner hole of the paper reel is 30-65mm.

(4) Bandaging speed 0~4m/min

(5) Winding pitch 0~40mm

(6) Bandage head rotation speed 0~60r/min

3 Technical requirements and main functions

The automatic lead cable bandaging machine is composed of main frame, linear guide rail, bandaging head, tail seat, power transmission device and electronic control system.

(1) Main frame: use structure steel, after welding, machining and surface treatment, as the frame of the entire equipment, with sufficient strength and stiffness.

(2) Linear guide rail: directly purchased Taiwan TBI linear guide rail, fixed on the machined frame body, the surface is chromium-plated, not only beautiful appearance and with the slider will not produce harmful iron filings, will not pollute the wrapped lead cable.

(3) Bandaging machine head: is the most critical mechanical part of the equipment, there are two paper reels fixed on it , and there is a force control device. When bandaging through the translation drive device, the horizontal movement on the linear guide rail, while the head does rotating movement, after PLC calculation can be wrapped up in line with the process requirements (pitch, thickness, expansion force and other parameters) of the lead cable. Requires smooth operation and the ability to manually adjust the expansion force.

(4) Tail seat: It is equipped with a three-jaw chuck, which can move laterally on the linear guide rail and lock reliably, so it can adapt to different  lengths of lead cable.

(5) Power transmission device: provides power for the entire equipment, the drive line rotates and the bandaging head moves horizontally, each motor is controlled by an independent servo motor, so it can wrap the lead cable of any pitch.

(6) Electronic control system: as the brain of the entire device, it is the core of the device. It is mainly composed of touch screen, Siemens PLC, inverter, button, contactor and other electrical components, all using brand-name products to ensure the reliability of equipment operation. Only through the touch screen can set the paper speed, paper thickness, paper length, paper pitch and other related parameters, and in the operation of the equipment can be animated in real time to display the operation of the equipment and process parameters, the operation is simple and intuitive. For the most commonly used 20 sets of process parameters, only need to be set once and stored, and can be used directly in the future.

(7) Has the function of broken paper detection, automatic alarm and shutdown when paper broken or used up, prompting the operator to replace the creped paper plate in time, so as not to remember the wrong number of layers.

(8) It has the function of positive and negative rotation, which is convenient for re-winding in unexpected situations.

(9) The frequency converter adopts Delta brand, and other electrical components use joint venture brand.

(10) Electrical control: The electrical control mainly control the rotation of the front chuck and can be controlled by manual button.

(11) The name plate of the lubrication table of the equipment (including the location of the lubrication point, oil product, period, oil amount, etc.) is provided so that each lubrication point is easy to operate.

(12) The main color of the equipment is light phthalic blue acrylic polyurethane paint or as specified by the customer, and the paint film thickness is not less than 150μm.

(13)The materials used are high quality materials in line with national standards.

(14) All machined parts are processed according to machining specifications and heat treatment specifications, and the surface is treated with rust prevention.

(15) The parts have smooth processing surface and no burr welding scar. The welding is solid, and the weld is cleaned smoothly.

(16) Persons purification to meet demand.

(17) For matters not covered, follow the corresponding national standards.
